{"id":5662,"date":"2015-09-19T10:43:24","date_gmt":"2015-09-19T17:43:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/?p=5662"},"modified":"2015-09-19T10:48:35","modified_gmt":"2015-09-19T17:48:35","slug":"what-gas-grill-should-i-buy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/what-gas-grill-should-i-buy\/","title":{"rendered":"QOTM: What Gas Grill Should I Buy?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5671 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/91mzBnml4ML._SL1500_-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"gas grill\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/91mzBnml4ML._SL1500_-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/91mzBnml4ML._SL1500_-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/91mzBnml4ML._SL1500_-900x599.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/91mzBnml4ML._SL1500_.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>It's been awhile since I've sent a question of the month, and now I have two questions! \u00a0I'm in the market for a couple of new grills, one for gas or propane, and one for charcoal. \u00a0In this post I'm going to collect the feedback from my community and their recommendations for which gas grill I should buy.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>My current grill is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/char-griller-duo-gas-charcoal-grill\/\">Char-Griller Duo 5050 model<\/a> and the propane side is giving out. \u00a0I had a leak start in one of the propane hoses that could have caused a big problem. \u00a0Things have been deteriorating and as I inspected the grill more closely, I realized that it would take a bunch to get everything replaced that needs replacing. \u00a0I decided that it was time to try something different.<\/p>\n<p>I don't need something huge, but I don't want the smallest either. \u00a0I want something that I could use for a quick grill at night after work, but would also be used for grilling for a small family gathering, say 8 people.<\/p>\n<p>I use the grill more than the average person, even though I've slacked off over the past year. \u00a0It's time to ramp things back up again. \u00a0In general, I'm a pretty heavy user.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\">Outdoor Cooking Magic<\/a>, I like to grill a variety of things, including all sorts of meats, vegetables, even fruits. \u00a0I also like to try cooking in cast iron pans on the grill.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">What Gas Grill Should I Buy?<\/h2>\n<p>So here are my\u00a0questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What features should I be considering? \u00a0BTUs? Side burner? How many burners? What type of grates?<\/li>\n<li>What gas grill brand\/model do you have now?<\/li>\n<li>What do you like about your current gas grill?<\/li>\n<li>What do you not like about your current gas grill?<\/li>\n<li>What grill do you recommend, based on your experience?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have thoughts about the answers for these questions, but I'd love to hear your answers!<\/p>\n<p>Please add your thoughts to the comments below.
