margin: 5px;\" alt=\"Pork Chops\" src=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Pork-Chops-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>I finally got outdoors to cook something on the grill in the freezing cold! \u00a0 I haven't done much grilling or outdoor cooking this winter, and it's really been affecting me! \u00a0I was determined to get out there and get something cooked, despite the threats of snow today (which haven't materialized yet). \u00a0I decided to do some pork kabobs, and the butcher at our local store had some nice thick pork chops, so it was set. \u00a0Barbecue Pork Kabobs, here we come!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first thing was to take these nice thick pork chops and trim them a bit and then cut them into about 1\" cubes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Pork-Cubes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4653\" style=\"border: 0px; margin: 5px;\" alt=\"Pork Cubes\" src=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Pork-Cubes-300x199.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Pork-Cubes-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Pork-Cubes.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Next I combined the ingredients for a marinade into a bowl. \u00a0This marinade had a barbecue sauce kind-of-a-flavor and contained ketchup, white vinegar, oil, brown sugar, dry mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Barbecue-Pork-Kabob-Marinade.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4654\" style=\"border: 0px; margin: 5px;\" alt=\"Pork Kabobs On The Grill\" src=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Pork-Kabobs-On-The-Grill-300x199.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Pork-Kabobs-On-The-Grill-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Pork-Kabobs-On-The-Grill.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After about 5 minutes, I turned them over. \u00a0It's easy to get these burned, because of the marinade, so turn them frequently. \u00a0After you turn, brush on some of the marinade that you saved. \u00a0Do that each time you turn.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Pork-Kabobs-Half-Way-Done.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4664\" style=\"border: 0px; Whisk together well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Reserve 3\/4 cup of the marinade.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cut the pork chops into 1 inch cubes (or even 1 1\/2 cubes if your chops are thicker).<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the pork cubes and sauce to a resealable zip-lock bag and mix well to get the pork all coated.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">If you are going to use bamboo skewers, start those soaking in water at this time.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cut the peppers into chunks that are about 1 inch wide.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cut the onions into wedges that are also about 1 inch wide.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">After 1 hour, remove the pork cubes and thread the pork, pepper pieces, and onion wedges alternately onto the skewers.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Put skewers on the grill and grill a total of 15-20 minutes or until pork is done. Turn the skewers a 1\/4 turn every 3-4 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Baste with the reserved marinade as you turn the skewers. It's nice to reserve some until the very end when you can do a final basting right before you remove the kabobs from the grill.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">I like to serve on a bed or rice.
