Unfortunately, it seems like my foil packet is never quite air (or water) tight and the water starts to leak out.<\/p>\n<p>I found a solution.\u00a0 Ice cubes.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of putting water in, put some ice cubes in.\u00a0 It worked great.\u00a0 Now the water doesn't run out, and the cubes eventually melt to provide the moisture for the rice.\u00a0 Not only that, but the other vegetables cooked better too.<br \/>\n<div class=\"signature\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.outdoorcookingmagic.com\/images\/scottsig.png\" alt=\"Scott\" height=\"35\" width=\"86\" \/><br \/><\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I like rice in my foil dinners.\u00a0 But it requires some moisture.\u00a0 Usually I make up the foil packet, leaving one end open, and then pour 1\/4 to 1\/2 cup of water in open end and then seal that end up.
